The Reds played in front of the Sky Sports cameras for the first time this season at Fratton Park, however Barnsley were unable to find the net in an evenly matched end-to-end game which eventually saw Portsmouth win by two goals to nil.
Keith Hill finally wins at home after an entertaining performance from Barnsley sees Andy Gray score both goals in 2-0 win over Coventry City.
Barnsley earned a creditable draw at Pride Park against a Derby site featuring former captain Jason Shackell.
